Taste of Plano Foodie Pass Breaks Records

Visit Plano re-launched for the third year a “Taste of Plano Foodie Pass” that ran from March 1, 2023 through September 30, 2023. The purpose of the mobile program was twofold – to broaden consumer awareness of the many delicious and diverse dining options available in Plano, and to bolster restaurant business. This program builds upon two years of success with more coupons and prizes and an even bigger prize sweepstakes.

The FREE, mobile-friendly program featured a “passport” showcasing nearly 100 Plano eateries. New this year, users accumulated points for checking-in and redeeming coupons, then their points were cashed in for prizes.

Campaign Results:
• 7,798 landing page users, up 35%
• 2,630 pass downloads, up 114%
• 4,919 total check-in’s/redemptions, up 225%
• Top cities: Plano, Dallas, Frisco, McKinney & Richardson
