Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom (Baytown)
Commemorating the 1865 emancipation of enslaved people, the Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom is a free outdoor festival featuring live music, children’s activities, food vendors, shopping, and art booths. The event, which is spearheaded by a committee of Black leaders in the community and hosted by the City of Baytown Parks and Recreation Department, also highlights individuals who have made significant historical contributions to the Black community of Baytown.
