Visit Granbury Visitor Center

The Visit Granbury Visitor Center is a hub of tourism activity. Voted Best Historic Small Town in America three years in a row by USA Today, Granbury is a great example of a knowable and welcoming tourism center and staff.

The Visitor Center role constantly evolves and adds to the visitor experience. Visitor Specialists tell the story of Granbury and the uniqueness we promote. The history, the culture and excitement Granbury has to offer.

The Granbury Visitor Center is a destination in and of itself by being a wealth of knowledge, stakeholder advocacy and place for visitors to be welcomed.

Responsible for over 6,000 walk-in visitors annually and hundreds of phone calls the specialist track where visitors are coming from and their interest and report this information monthly. The center is also the main pick-up location for the famous Granbury Trolley which transports over 9,000 visitors each year. New in 2022 is the Granbury Monarch Butterfly Mural “selfie spot” a new visitor favorite. The center also hosts a weekly Friday morning Rise & Grind networking event that has become a community favorite.

Open 7-days-a-week, the Visitor Center is a one-stop-shop to promote all that Granbury has to offer. Staffed with five enthusiastic and knowledgeable Visitor Information Specialists and supported by 35 plus Volunteer Information Professionals (VIPS). Additionally, these volunteers stuff over 5,000 group welcome bags and deliver to area hotels prior to group arrival.

Located just off the Historic Granbury Downtown Square offering complimentary coffee, bottled water, snacks, and Wi-Fi the lobby is popular gathering spot.
